As we survey the challenges of the world that are before us today, let us, the church, not be intimidated.
Despite the reports and frustration, and cries of the world, the church should not be discouraged. The challenges we face are not insurmountable. We are the church of the living God, the greatest nation in the earth, and Holy Nation. I’m encouraged from the words of the psalmist, “the Lord is my Light and salvation, whom shall I fear”. We can survive the national dilemma and rise to the occasion because we serve a God who has proven that He fights on our behalf.
Church we are the foundation of hope in our communities. Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. I challenge each of you to encourage and inspire the dispirited around you, to know that our help is in the name of the Lord. This is no time for serious American Christians to give up hope! This is the hour for us to stop looking down, and start looking up! God is still on the throne, and the prayers of the righteous changes things!
This is a good time for each of us to commit to the great commission! Christ is the sure foundation which cannot be destroyed. All power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth. Let’s do as he said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”.
